| Cards point at the original file | Photos are never copied or backed up. Move or delete the file and the card stops working. | |
| One display | The line follows the primary monitor. There is no separate line on each screen. | |
| Exclusive full-screen games | Full-screen support is off by default. Exclusive full-screen can hide the line; use borderless windowed mode. | |
| Anti-cheat | ShowLine does not inject into games or read game memory, but anti-cheat false positives cannot be ruled out. Follow each game's rules. | |
| Clip | Notes are memory only | Text cards are not saved unless you switch local memory on, and they are never synced or searchable. |
| Passwords are skipped | Items marked as sensitive or shaped like a password are not hung. This is a filter, not a safe. | |
