Terms of use
These terms apply when you install or use ShowLine or any of the four single apps (Photo, Color, Clip, Snap). By installing, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not install the app.
The licence you get
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for as long as you comply with these terms. The app is licensed, not sold.
The Microsoft Store terms also apply
The app is distributed through the Microsoft Store, so the Microsoft Store terms of use and the standard licence terms shown at purchase also apply. Where those terms conflict with this page, the Microsoft terms win for the parts they cover.
What you may do
- Install and use the app on your own Windows devices
- Use it for personal or commercial work you carry out yourself
- Make a reasonable number of copies for backup
What you may not do
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, except where the law says you may
- Redistribute, rent, lease, sublicense or sell the app or a modified copy
- Remove or alter copyright notices
- Use the app to break the law or the rules of another service, including game anti-cheat rules
Updates
Updates are delivered through the Microsoft Store and are free for the life of the app. An update may change or remove a feature; release notes are published on the Updates page. You can stop updating by uninstalling.
No warranty
The app is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, there is no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. It is a small tool, and it is described honestly on the Limits page — read that before you buy.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, lost work or lost profit arising from use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
Ending this licence
The licence ends if you break these terms. You can end it at any time by uninstalling the app. Sections about warranty, liability and ownership survive.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated for a future version. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the updated terms.
